"A Taste of Europe" Comes to Temecula
First things first: If you have not been to Sorrel Restaurant/Bistro yet, we don't know what you are waiting for! One of the most recent additions to the Temecula Valley, Owner and Chef Adrian Halmagean opened his doors for the first time in August 2010. Known as a European-style restaurant/bistro, Sorrel showcases the diversity of European cuisine bringing a little bit from everywhere, including the UK, Portugal, Italy and Russia. With his menu changing seasonally and specials offered weekly instead of daily, Chef Adrian's goal is to keep everything on the menu under $20. Great quality food at an amazing price? We told you it's the newest hidden gem of the Valley!
Upon entering Sorrel you will immediately notice its décor. From the art on the walls to the hand carved "Sorrel" sign and handmade wood tables throughout the dining room, there is nothing in the restaurant that has been mass produced. This philosophy remains the same in the kitchen as well. When we spoke with Chef Adrian he informed us that everything from the mayonnaise and mustard to the sausage and Bolognese sauce is all made from scratch and he is committed to utilizing the products of local farmers and producers whenever possible. We can assure you that these extra steps in the kitchen yield flavors that are out of this world. The passion for food combined with a great atmosphere makes Sorrel the perfect weeknight business dinner, weekend date night or gathering of friends. No matter what your excuse might be, we promise you will not be disappointed.

Insider's Tip: Everything on the menu is extraordinary so we know you cannot go wrong with your selection however, the sliced rustic bread baked with goat cheese topped with sweet roasted grape tomatoes and drizzled with balsamic reduction appetizer is a must-try! Also try to save room for one of the homemade desserts (we suggest the popular Torta Aurora) which you can then pair with French press flavored tea provided by the California
Tea & Coffee House. (951)296-3372 41377 Margarita Road, F-108 Temecula, CA 92591 www.sorrelbistro.com
