Lake Skinner is a Riverside County park that offers 300 developed campsites for both tent and RV campers, 158 sites with full hook-ups, 16 with water & electric, 39 with water only. There are also showers available, convenient camp store, shade structures, barbecues, rest rooms, an on-site caterer and a swimming pool that is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Lake Skinner is also host to the annual Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival in June.

Pechanga RV Resort offers 168 sites with full electric (20, 30 and 50 amp), water, cable TV and sewer service, with 25 pull through sites available. Some R&R: RVs and Roulette

There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who enjoy tent camping and those who don’t. For those of you who aren’t fond of roughing it in the wilderness, RV camping is probably more your style. And as an RV camper myself, I can be pretty particular about campground amenities. Full hook-ups are a must, with easy parking and spacious accommodations also topping my list. For our first stay at the Pechanga RV Resort, I can say the campgrounds exceeded expectations, even for this high maintenance camper.
