This midsummer weekend offered the amazing weather Temecula is famous for and proved so with the numerous out-of-town campers staying at the resort. We met campers from Arizona, Northern California and some traveled from as far as Kentucky. All were excited to experience RV Camping within walking distance of great food, entertainment and gambling. We too were excited for our first weekend of camping at the Pechanga RV Resort and wanted to take advantage of the perks of camping at a casino.
Throughout the rest of our stay at the Pechanga RV Resort, we got a little lazy in the cooking department…which can happen when you have so many amazing restaurants just a short shuttle ride away. After lunch at Pechanga’s Buffet, we almost didn’t have room for our dinner at Kelsey’s Sports Bar & Grill. But if you’ve been to Kelsey’s, you know to make room for their Windmill Mudd Pie. And when we weren’t eating, we were enjoying the heated pool and two spas across the road from our site. There are also three clubhouses throughout the resort that campers can rent out for All in all, we had a great time at the Pechanga RV Resort in sunny Temecula, California. Living so close, it’s not surprising that we’ve never camped there. But after our stay we definitely think it’s a great little weekend getaway for locals and an excuse to visit your hometown casino. With rates starting at $42 a night, camping at the Pechanga RV Resort is an inexpensive way to have a fun family, or romantic, vacation no matter where you are traveling from. If you are planning to stay a few nights during the week, go to the Pechanga RV Resort’s website and download a coupon for a free night of camping on your third night’s stay. .

Utilizing one of the full-size gas BBQ’s on the pool patio, we cooked up a great Friday night dinner of ribs and roasted corn paired with one of our favorite local wines, Robert Renzoni’s Old Vine Zinfandel. After watching the sunset over the mountains behind Journey, Pechanga’s new golf course, we took the free shuttle bus over to the casino to catch a show at The Comedy Club. We already had tickets to the show, but forgot who was headlining so the free wireless internet access came in handy! And the very convenient free shuttle shows up to your site within 2 minutes of calling the RV transportation number.
