 The De Portola Wine Trail is quickly becoming the new “winery row” as new and unique wineries continue to nestle themselves along this picturesque road. An alternative to the crowds and tourist spots, the tasting rooms and vineyards along De Portola are easily accessible and offer some great new wines.
Starting in late 2008, participating wineries began a fun wine tasting experience called "Mapping your way through the De Portola Wine Trail”. Participants will receive a map of the De Portola Wine Trail at their first winery and a sticker to put on the map after they enjoy their tasting. When the map is complete with all 6 winery stickers the guest will leave it at the last winery they visit and they will be entered into a monthly drawing. Lucky winners will receive 2 bottles of wine from each winery, signed by the owners or winemakers.
